If you answered yes to any of the above, Spokane Macaroni Kid wants to hear from you! We are seeking moms or dads from across our city(s) that we cover to volunteer to be our local Ambassadors. What does this mean exactly? Think of it as a great opportunity to learn more about your local community, make new connections, and potentially have your writing published online in Spokane Macaroni Kid's weekly e-newsletters and website.
As an Ambassador, you would be our eyes and ears in your community. You would submit events that you hear about for possible inclusion in our calendar. You would snap photos of your family enjoying a community event, movie or show and send them in along with a short review that would potentially be published in a future newsletter. You could review a family-friendly business or restaurant. Or perhaps you have kid-friendly craft or recipe ideas that you'd love to share. Send it in! And of course, we'd love for you to talk up Macaroni Kid in your network and ask them mention your name when they subscribe.
Being an Ambassador is a volunteer position (unpaid) however we will provide perks whenever possible! Aside from potentially having your writing published on our web site and e-newsletter, perks may include: free or discounted tickets to shows and events, free products to try, discounts to local businesses, exclusive contests/giveaways and Ambassador/VIP access to Macaroni Kid sponsored events. In some cases Ambassadors may be asked to write a short review in exchange for free tickets or products. Spokane Macaroni Kid reserves the right to choose as many or few ambassadors from each town as necessary to fill our content and subscriber pipeline. We cannot guarantee perks. We reserve the right to modify the terms of, or cancel, the Ambassador program for any reason at any time.
